About the Pastoral Family

En 1999 comencé a sentir que el Señor me estaba llamando a desarollar una nueva obra en la ciudad de Austin.  En febrero del 2000 empezamos la Iglesia en nuestra sala.  Desde ese tiempo nosotros hemos visto la mano de Dios moverce tremendamente.  Hemos visto a muchas personas ser bautizadas en el nombre de Jesús y llenas del Espíritu Santo.  Personas que antes eran atadas a las drogas y alcohol ahora componen parte del cuerpo de Jesucristo.

 Hasta este día, con la ayuda del Señor, nosotros continuamos tratando de alcanzar nuestra comunidad y nuestro mundo.  Somos un pueblo que ha sido perdonados de sus pecados y hemos recivido una nueva esperanza (2 Cor. 5:17). Deseamos a continuar haciendo la voluntad de Dios, porque con El nada es imposible.  Comprendemos que la esperanza que cada uno de nosotros tenemos no es basada sobre nuestros logros, pero nuestra esperanza esta basada sobre una relación con Jesús (Marcos 8:36-38).  

Deseamos que nuestra comunidad y nuestro mundo se de cuenta que hay una esperanza, y Su nombre es Jesús (Rom. 15:13). Comprendemos que nadie es perfecto, pero al mismo tiempo, Jesús siempre ha llamado a Su Iglesia a vivir más alta que el mundo alrededor de ella (2 Cor. 6:17). Oramos que nosotros tengamos una oportunidad de conocerle y juntos alcanzemos nuestro potencial en Jesús. 

In 1999, I began to feel that the Lord was calling me to start a new work in the city of Austin. In February 2000, we began the church in our living room. Since that time, we have seen the hand of God move tremendously. We have witnessed many people being baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with the Holy Spirit. People who were once bound by drugs and alcohol are now part of the body of Jesus Christ.

To this day, with the Lord’s help, we continue striving to reach our community and the world. We are a people who have been forgiven of our sins and have received a new hope (2 Cor. 5:17). We desire to continue doing God’s will, because with Him nothing is impossible. We understand that the hope each of us has is not based on our achievements, but on a relationship with Jesus (Mark 8:36-38).

We want our community and the world to realize that there is hope, and His name is Jesus (Rom. 15:13). We understand that no one is perfect, but at the same time, Jesus has always called His Church to live higher than the world around it (2 Cor. 6:17). We pray that we have the opportunity to know Him and together reach our potential in Jesus.

About our Church

Somos una iglesia bilingüe en Austin, comprometida a alcanzar más almas para el Señor. Fundada en el año 2000 en una sala de estar, hemos sido testigos de muchos milagros y de vidas transformadas por el poder de Dios. Muchas personas que antes estaban atadas a luchas como la adicción han encontrado esperanza, sanidad y un lugar en el cuerpo de Jesucristo.

Nuestra misión es alcanzar nuestra comunidad y el mundo con el evangelio, ayudando a las personas a crecer en su relación con Jesús a través de la adoración, la enseñanza, la comunión y el ministerio. Contamos con muchos ministerios dentro de la iglesia, como el ministerio de jóvenes, jóvenes adultos, y el ministerio infantil como la escuela dominical. Tenemos un excelente equipo de medios, actividades divertidas para los niños y los jóvenes, y mucho más. No somos solo una iglesia, sino una familia que ha crecido significativamente desde el año 2000 por la gracia de Dios.

Somos un pueblo que ha sido perdonado de sus pecados y ha recibido una nueva esperanza (2 Corintios 5:17). Deseamos continuar haciendo la voluntad de Dios, porque con Él nada es imposible. We are a bilingual church in Austin, committed to reaching more souls for the Lord. Founded in 2000 in a living room, we have witnessed many miracles and lives transformed by the power of God. Many who were once bound by struggles like addiction have found hope, healing, and a place in the body of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to reach our community and the world with the gospel, helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus through worship, teaching, fellowship, and ministry. We have many different ministries in the church, including youth, young adults, and children’s ministry such as Sunday school. We have an excellent media team, fun activities for children and youth, and much more. We are not just a church, but a family that has grown significantly since 2000 by the grace of God.

We are a people who have been forgiven of our sins and have received new hope (2 Corinthians 5:17). We desire to continue doing God’s will, because with Him nothing is impossible. We want our community and the world to realize that there is hope, and His name is Jesus (Romans 15:13). We understand that no one is perfect, but at the same time, Jesus has always called His Church to live higher than the world around it (2 Corinthians 6:17). We believe everyone can be saved in Jesus’ name, and our goal is to show that Jesus loves everyone, no matter what language they speak or the color of their skin.

We are thankful that we are able to spread God’s love and bring joy to the world through all our activities, ministries, and powerful church services. We pray for the opportunity to know Him and together reach our potential in Jesus.

About Our Ministries

Ministerio de Varones Men’s Ministry

Director: Hno. Abner Miranda

  • Nuestro Ministerio de Varones reúne a los hombres de la iglesia para crecer en su fe y fortalecerse unos a otros a través de una comunión significativa. Este ministerio fomenta amistades fuertes y lazos duraderos arraigados en Jesús.

    A través de una variedad de actividades como noches de boliche, reuniones de oración, comidas en grupo y otros eventos, el Ministerio de Varones brinda oportunidades para la conexión, el crecimiento espiritual y el apoyo mutuo en un ambiente acogedor y alentador.

    Our Men’s Ministry brings together the men of the church to grow in their faith and strengthen one another through meaningful fellowship. This ministry encourages strong friendships and lasting bonds rooted in Jesus.

    Through a variety of activities such as bowling nights, prayer gatherings, shared meals, and other events, the Men’s Ministry provides opportunities for connection, spiritual growth, and mutual support in a welcoming and encouraging environment.

Ministerio de Damas Women’s Ministry

  • Nuestro Ministerio de Damas reúne a las mujeres de la iglesia para crecer en la fe, formar relaciones significativas y apoyarse mutuamente. Este ministerio organiza una variedad de actividades y salidas tanto dentro como fuera de la iglesia, ofreciendo oportunidades para la comunión, la diversión y el crecimiento espiritual.

    Es uno de los ministerios más impactantes de la iglesia, fomentando vínculos fuertes entre sus miembros y recibiendo con los brazos abiertos a cada nueva integrante. A través de este ministerio, las mujeres experimentan amistad, ánimo y un sentido de comunidad como ningún otro.

    Our Women’s Ministry brings together the women of the church to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and support one another. This ministry organizes a variety of activities and outings both inside and outside the church, providing opportunities for fellowship, fun, and spiritual growth.

    It is one of the most impactful ministries in the church, fostering strong bonds among its members and welcoming every new woman with open arms. Through this ministry, women experience friendship, encouragement, and a sense of community like no other.

Ministerio de Música Music Ministry

Ministro/Minister: Rev. Jarel Urbina

  • Nuestro Ministerio de Música es un ministerio que reúne a quienes cantan y tocan diversos instrumentos, incluyendo batería, guitarra, bajo, saxofón, teclado y piano, así como vocalistas como tenores, altos y sopranos. Juntos forman un equipo de adoración poderoso y basado en la fe, que guía a la iglesia en alabanza y adoración.

    Este grupo no solo se reúne para ensayos semanales, sino que también participa en salidas y actividades de comunión para fortalecer la conexión entre sus miembros y profundizar su relación con el Espíritu. A través de su dedicación y trabajo en equipo, el Ministerio de Música crea un ambiente inspirador donde los miembros crecen espiritualmente mientras sirven a Dios a través de la música.

    Our Music Ministry is a ministry that brings together those who sing and play various instruments, including drums, guitar, bass, saxophone, keyboard, and piano, as well as vocalists such as tenors, altos, and sopranos. Together, they form a powerful, faith-based worship team that leads the church in praise and worship.

    This group not only meets for weekly rehearsals but also participates in outings and fellowship activities to strengthen connections with one another and deepen their relationship with the Spirit. Through their dedication and teamwork, the Music Ministry creates an inspiring environment where members grow spiritually while serving God through music.

Ministerio de Niños Children’s Ministry

Directora/Director: Hna. Magda Urbina

  • El Ministerio de Niños ofrece la escuela dominical y una variedad de actividades diseñadas para enseñar a los niños sobre la Biblia y sembrar semillas de fe en la próxima generación. Nuestro ministerio organiza muchos eventos emocionantes, incluyendo nuestra popular Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones, Lluvia de Dulces, Días de Manualidades, Días de Juegos, Servicios para Niños, Días en el Zoológico, ¡y mucho más!

    The Children’s Ministry offers Sunday school and a variety of engaging activities designed to teach children about the Bible and help plant seeds of faith in the next generation. Our ministry hosts many exciting events, including our popular Vacation Bible School, Candy Rain, Craft Days, Game Days, Children’s Services, Zoo Days, and much more.

    We strive to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can have fun, make friends, and grow in their relationship with God. Through these activities, we aim to inspire a love for Jesus while creating lasting memories and a sense of belonging for every child.

Radical Ministerio Juvenil Radical Youth Ministry

Directores/Directors: Hno. Carlos y Hna. Sayda Murillo

  • El Grupo Radical es un ministerio juvenil para jóvenes de 12 a 17 años, diseñado para ayudarles a crecer juntos en la fe y a formar conexiones significativas dentro de la iglesia. Este ministerio alcanza a la próxima generación a través de una variedad de actividades divertidas y atractivas, incluyendo noches de juegos, patinaje, oración y comunión, pintura, campamentos y emocionantes viajes a lugares como Six Flags y otros destinos alrededor de la ciudad.

    A través de estas experiencias, el Grupo Radical ofrece un ambiente seguro y de apoyo donde los adolescentes pueden profundizar su relación con Dios, hacer nuevos amigos y disfrutar de momentos inolvidables juntos.

    The Radical Group is a youth ministry for ages 12–17, designed to help young people grow together in their faith and build meaningful connections within the church. This ministry reaches out to the next generation through a variety of fun and engaging activities, including game nights, roller skating, prayer and fellowship, painting, camps, and exciting trips to places like Six Flags and other destinations around the city.

    Through these experiences, the Radical Group provides a safe and supportive environment where teens can deepen their relationship with God, make new friends, and enjoy unforgettable moments together.

Genesis Ministerio Juvenil Genesis Youth Ministry

Directores/Directors: Hno. Marlon y Hna. Cristina Ramos

  • El Grupo Génesis es un ministerio de jóvenes adultos para personas de 18 a 30 años que no están casadas, creado para ayudarles a conectarse, formar comunidad y crecer en su caminar con el Señor. Este grupo ofrece oportunidades para que los jóvenes adultos fortalezcan su fe mientras desarrollan relaciones significativas con otros que se encuentran en la misma etapa de la vida.

    A lo largo del año, organizamos una variedad de actividades y eventos, incluyendo noches de boliche, noches de juegos, noches de oración, reuniones de Friendsgiving, conferencias de iglesia dentro y fuera de la ciudad, campamentos y muchas otras experiencias. A través de estos eventos, nuestro propósito es crear un ambiente de apoyo donde los jóvenes adultos puedan conectarse, crecer espiritualmente, formar amistades y sentirse animados en su caminar de fe.

    The Genesis Group is a young adults ministry for individuals ages 18–30 who are not married, created to help them connect, build community, and grow in their walk with the Lord. This group provides opportunities for young adults to strengthen their faith while forming meaningful relationships with others in the same stage of life.

    We host a variety of activities and events throughout the year, including bowling nights, game nights, prayer nights, Friendsgiving gatherings, church conferences both in and out of the city, camps, and many more experiences. Through these events, we aim to create a supportive environment where young adults can connect, grow spiritually, build friendships, and feel encouraged in their journey of faith.

Unos Para Siempre One Forever

Directores/Directors: Hno. Ever y Hna. Erica Trochez

  • Nuestro Ministerio “Unos Para Siempre” es un ministerio para parejas jóvenes casadas, diseñado para ayudarles a conectarse, crecer juntos y disfrutar de la vida en pareja mientras se mantienen espiritualmente firmes. Este ministerio organiza una variedad de actividades y salidas, ofreciendo oportunidades para que las parejas construyan relaciones entre sí, se diviertan y fortalezcan sus matrimonios.

    A través de este ministerio, las parejas son animadas a crecer en la fe, apoyarse mutuamente y establecer una base sólida en la casa de Dios. Es un espacio donde el matrimonio, la comunión y el crecimiento espiritual se unen, ayudando a las parejas a prosperar tanto personal como espiritualmente.

    Our “One Forever” Ministry is a ministry for young married couples designed to help them connect, grow together, and enjoy life as a couple while staying spiritually grounded. This ministry hosts a variety of activities and outings, providing opportunities for couples to build relationships with one another, have fun, and strengthen their marriages.

    Through this ministry, couples are encouraged to grow in faith, support each other, and build a strong foundation in the house of God. It’s a space where marriage, fellowship, and spiritual growth come together, helping couples thrive both personally and spiritually.

Ministerio Jubileo Jubilee Ministry

Directores/Directors: Hno. Maynor y Hna. Andria Cortes

  • Nuestro Ministerio Jubileo está dedicado a difundir el evangelio y a servir a quienes más lo necesitan en la ciudad. Este ministerio visita a los ancianos y a las personas que quizá no reciben muchas visitas, ofreciendo amor, compañía y alimento. Colaboran con el Ministerio de Música para brindar música edificante a los adultos mayores, y trabajan junto al Ministerio de Niños para que los niños puedan hacer manualidades y compartir momentos de alegría con ellos.

    Además, el Ministerio Jubileo apoya a las personas sin hogar mediante la donación de alimentos, ropa, artículos de cuidado personal e higiene, esforzándose por compartir el amor de Dios tal como lo hizo Jesús. A través de su servicio, este ministerio lleva esperanza, ánimo y el mensaje de Cristo a quienes más lo necesitan.

    Our Jubilee Ministry is dedicated to spreading the gospel and serving those in need throughout the city. This ministry reaches out to seniors and individuals who may not receive many visitors, offering love, companionship, and food. They collaborate with the Music Ministry to provide uplifting music for the elders, and work with the Children’s Ministry so kids can create crafts and share joyful moments with them.

    In addition, Jubilee Ministry supports the homeless by donating food, clothing, personal care, and hygiene items, striving to share God’s love in the same way Jesus did. Through their service, this ministry brings hope, encouragement, and the message of Christ to those who need it most.

Esgrima Bíblico Bible Quizzing

Directora/Director: Hna. Cristina Ramos

  • El Ministerio de Esgrima Bíblico es un ministerio donde los niños del Ministerio de Niños estudian la Escritura y se preparan para competencias amistosas con otras iglesias para demostrar quién conoce mejor la Biblia. En estas competencias, los grupos de niños deben completar versículos o identificar la Escritura que se leyó.

    Este ministerio fue creado para ayudar a los niños a aprender la Biblia de manera divertida y atractiva, fomentando el amor por la Palabra de Dios y manteniéndola cerca de sus corazones. Combina educación, compañerismo y competencia amistosa para inspirar una conexión duradera con las Escrituras.

    The Bible Quizzing Ministry is a ministry where children in the Children’s Ministry study Scripture and prepare for friendly competitions with other churches to see who knows the Bible best. In these competitions, groups of kids are challenged to complete verses or identify the scripture that was read.

    This ministry was created to help children learn the Bible in a fun and engaging way, fostering a love for God’s Word and keeping it close to their hearts. It combines education, fellowship, and friendly competition to inspire a lifelong connection with Scripture.

Multimedia

Director: Hno. Michael Cordova

  • El Equipo de Medios es responsable de todo el trabajo que se realiza detrás de escena para apoyar nuestros servicios de iglesia. Ellos se encargan de mostrar las letras de alabanza, los pasajes bíblicos, las pantallas de títulos y de supervisar la transmisión en vivo para nuestro grupo cerrado de Facebook.

    Gracias a su dedicación, el Equipo de Medios ayuda a crear una experiencia de adoración fluida, permitiendo que la congregación se mantenga atenta y enfocada sin perder ningún momento del mensaje. Al mostrar claramente las letras y las Escrituras, también facilitan que todos puedan seguir, cantar juntos y adorar como una sola familia en la iglesia.

    The Media Team is responsible for all behind-the-scenes production that supports our church services. They manage the display of worship lyrics, scripture passages, title screens, and oversee our livestream for our closed Facebook group.

    Through their dedication, the Media Team helps create a seamless worship experience, allowing the congregation to stay engaged and focused without missing any part of the message. By clearly displaying lyrics and scripture, they also make it easier for everyone to follow along, sing together, and worship as one church family.

Ministerio de Promoción Promotional Ministry

Director: Hno. JJ Moreno

  • El Ministerio de Promoción supervisa la presencia de la iglesia en las redes sociales y los esfuerzos creativos de alcance. Este equipo es responsable de administrar nuestras cuentas de redes sociales, crear videos promocionales para próximos eventos, diseñar volantes, tomar fotografías y videos, y compartir contenido atractivo en todas nuestras plataformas.

    A través de la creatividad y la innovación, el Ministerio de Promoción utiliza los medios digitales para compartir el mensaje de la iglesia y alcanzar a nuevas personas.     The Promotional Ministry oversees the church’s social media presence and creative outreach efforts. This team is responsible for managing our social media accounts, creating promotional videos for upcoming events, designing flyers, capturing photos and videos, and sharing engaging content across all of our platforms.

    Through creativity and innovation, the Promotional Ministry uses digital media to share the message of the church and reach new audiences. By producing impactful videos, images, and designs, they help sow seeds of faith and draw people in by capturing attention online in meaningful and engaging ways.

Evangelismo Evangelism

Ministro/Minister: Rev. Edvin Romero

  • Nuestro Ministerio de Evangelismo está dedicado a compartir el evangelio al dar a conocer el amor de Dios, el mensaje de salvación y el sacrificio que Jesús hizo por nosotros. Este ministerio alcanza a otros de diferentes maneras, incluyendo estudios bíblicos, evangelismo de casa en casa y servicios especiales donde se invita a amigos y familiares a escuchar un mensaje de esperanza.

    El evangelismo no se trata solo de predicar, sino también de vivir nuestra fe diariamente, permitiendo que otros vean a Jesús a través de nuestras acciones, amor y servicio.

    Our Evangelism Ministry is dedicated to spreading the gospel by sharing God’s love, the message of salvation, and the sacrifice Jesus made for us. This ministry reaches others in a variety of ways, including Bible studies, door-to-door outreach, and special services where friends and family are invited to hear the message of hope.

    Evangelism is not only about preaching, but also about living out our faith daily, allowing others to see Jesus through our actions, love, and service.

Eventos Especiales Special Events

Coordinadora/Coordinator: Hna. Ingrid Romero

  • Nuestro Ministerio de Eventos Especiales es responsable de planificar y coordinar todos los eventos especiales de la iglesia, asegurándose de que cada detalle esté organizado, sea hermoso y disfrutable para los asistentes. Ellos supervisan la decoración, la logística y el flujo de cada evento para crear una experiencia fluida e inolvidable.

    Este ministerio opera con excelencia, siguiendo el principio bíblico: “Y todo lo que hagan, háganlo de corazón, como para el Señor y no para los hombres” (Colosenses 3:23). Su objetivo es crear un ambiente cálido, acogedor y elegante, donde el pueblo de Dios pueda celebrar, compartir y experimentar Su presencia.

    Our Special Events Ministry is responsible for planning and coordinating all of the church’s special events, ensuring that every detail is organized, beautiful, and enjoyable for attendees. They oversee decorations, logistics, and the flow of each event to create a seamless and memorable experience.

    This ministry operates with excellence, following the biblical principle: “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men” (Colossians 3:23). Their goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and elegant environment where God’s people can celebrate, fellowship, and experience His presence.

Ujieres Ushers

Director: Hno. Nelson Guerra

  • Los Ujieres son los hermanos y hermanas de la iglesia que ayudan a que todo funcione sin problemas. Sirven en diferentes funciones durante el servicio, incluyendo recoger la ofrenda, abrir y cerrar las puertas para la congregación, dirigir el estacionamiento y ayudar a las personas a encontrar los mejores asientos. Los ujieres también se conectan con los nuevos visitantes para hacerlos sentir bienvenidos y obtener su información si desean estudios bíblicos o hablar con el Pastor. Sin nuestros ujieres, el flujo de la iglesia no sería el mismo.

    Ushers are the brothers and sisters of the church who help ensure everything runs smoothly. They serve in different roles throughout the service, including receiving the offering, opening and closing doors for the congregation, directing parking, and helping guests find the best seating. Ushers also connect with new visitors to make them feel welcome and gather their information if they would like Bible studies or wish to speak with the Pastor. Without our ushers, the flow of the church would not be the same.

Grupo de Rizpa Rizpah Group

Directora/Director: Hna. Romilia Cordova

  • El Grupo Rizpa es un grupo de mujeres que ayunan todos los lunes y se reúnen semanalmente para orar, tener comunión y compartir reflexiones sobre la Palabra de Dios. Oran juntas por las necesidades de la iglesia y están comprometidas a hacer la obra que Dios nos ha llamado a realizar. Como un grupo unido, comparten compañerismo al romper el ayuno juntas, participan en diferentes actividades y crecen espiritualmente. Se apoyan unas a otras ofreciendo consejo, consuelo y amor, apoyándose mutuamente en fe y unidad.

    The Rizpah Group is a group of women who fast every Monday and come together weekly for prayer, fellowship, and discussion of the Word of God. They pray collectively for the needs of the church and are committed to doing the work God has called them to do. As a close-knit group, they share fellowship by breaking their fast together, participating in activities, and growing spiritually. They support one another by offering advice, comfort, and love, leaning on each other in faith and unity.

Mantenimiento Maintenance

Director:Hno. Ever Trochez

  • Nuestro equipo de Mantenimiento trabaja incansablemente para mantener nuestra iglesia limpia y en los más altos estándares. Su dedicación y esfuerzo no pasan desapercibidos, y estamos profundamente agradecidos por todo lo que continúan haciendo en el reino del Señor.

    Our Maintenance team works tirelessly to keep our church clean and maintained to the highest standards. Their dedication and hard work do not go unnoticed, and we are deeply grateful for all they continue to do in the Lord’s kingdom.

Secretario Secretary

Director: Hno. Carlos Cordova

  • El Secretario de la iglesia apoya al Pastor y a la junta directiva ayudando con la planificación y la organización. Colabora en la distribución de los fondos necesarios para el funcionamiento de la iglesia, toma notas durante las reuniones de la junta y de liderazgo, y ofrece aportes cuando es apropiado. También ayuda a recopilar y compartir información importante para que la junta pueda tomar decisiones bien fundamentadas en beneficio de la iglesia. Además, el secretario envía recordatorios de reuniones y distribuye informes.

    The Church Secretary supports the Pastor and the church board by assisting with planning and organization. He helps oversee the distribution of funds necessary for church operations, takes notes during board and leadership meetings, and provides thoughtful input when appropriate. He also helps gather and share important information so the board can make well-informed decisions on behalf of the church. In addition, the secretary sends meeting reminders and distributes reports.

Asistente Administrativo Administrative Assistant

Ministra/Minister: Rev. Sasha Urbina

  • Nuestro Asistente Administrativo es responsable de la programación de citas, la gestión de correspondencia, el mantenimiento de registros y de brindar apoyo administrativo en general.
